shortfall.

November 30th, 2009

While at the bowling alley, I was called up and told that our SMSgt wanted to see me when I got back from lunch.

Turns out, AFSOC needs a 3C0 with a 5 level to spend 90 days in Afghanistan and no else is qualified in our shop. Since our numbers are incredibly low, that’s my only saving grace to maybe not going. Otherwise, I might be leaving soon… really soon.

bowling for lunch.

We’ve gotten pretty big on this at work. The bowling alley on base offers two free games when you spend over $5 dollars at the snack bar for lunch and it’s only $1 to rent shoes. No real reason not to.

early drop off.

November 30th, 2009

Had to wake up really early this morning (after a night of actual real good sleep) to drop V off at Naha.

45KM later, I’m home and wishing I could go back to sleep. Time for work!

good life.

I really can’t complain. As much as I’d like to find something wrong and be negative… I’m good.

Some things that I’ve done since my last post.

- Took my yearly PT test and scored my highest so far (96.8 pts) in my AF career. I would be even happier if I could say that it would be my last test.. but the new twice a year testing starts in January and I’ve probably got one more left.

- Just finished a week of Bay Orderly and instead of working at work.. I was assigned to cleaning my dormitory’s common areas for the whole week. As much as that doesn’t sound great, it is still better than working a communications exercise at work.

I’ve obviously been a little busy as of lately. I knew something was wrong with my comment system after changing the theme awhile ago, since I was no longer getting any comments. Hopefully I got it worked out and it’s all good to go.
