From Okinawa to Atlanta, I’ve got my girl Dominique flying with me. That’ll be pretty cool to have someone to hang out while we take the bus from Haneda to Narita and stuck sitting around before that 12-14 hour flight.

Had a pretty decent time last night. I wasn’t mentally prepared for Felicia to be there (with a guy friend as well), but I still made the best of it.
It’s too bad I had to get home and couldn’t stay out thanks to this 0800 flight to Tokyo. I’m sure Harper would agree that I had enough to drink already. Thanks again, Felicia.
So here I am, trying to feel better with my head almost out the window of a taxi headed to Naha.

Getting my orders the day before I leave the island isn’t surprising, just thought I’d find a way already to make this easier. I’m now waiting to get my tickets printed up so I can feel that much better and relieved.
Edit – Feel much better. Not looking forward to taking the Haneida to Narita bus there and when I come back, though.

Out with Harper celebrating his real birthday before this weekends scheduled party on Friday.

Sometime this afternoon, we are expected to have our new group commander walk through our building. And as always, we overkill it. Cleaning and moving shit that almost for certain won’t be even seen.

Seriously, it’s been raining almost nonstop for over a week now.
It was cool for the first few days, but come on now!

I’m still on for leaving this Saturday. I’m upset I can’t enjoy myself as much for Harper’s birthday party on Friday night… but I’ll make do.
On the bright side, the government is footing most of the bill for me to go home after my class.
I’ll be home in Chicago on the 1st of July.
