Adiós Kadena.

For lunch today, we went to the dreaded Ona Kau Kau’s. Major Long is leaving the island finally, so it was the least we could do; attending his going away. My luck has always been lacking when it comes to Ona Kau Kau’s, and today was no different. Both spots I sat at, ended up leaking water down on me while I was trying to eat.

Got our personal bags to the main building and waiting for PRU processing.

McHotdog please.

Finally had a chance to order the McHotdog at McDonalds for dinner tonight. When I asked for it however, the cashier shyly responded in typical Japanese fashion, “I’m sorry. Breakfast only.”

What?

Breakfast only?

Since it’ll be a slow few weeks while we’re gone and deployed, Felicia thought it would be great to use that extra time and get a better volunteer bullet and take in three puppies for a period of time. She’ll have them and take them around to adoption events and hopefully find a good home for them.

Spent the busy as usual. Apparently, I have to work this weekend trying to perform the miracle of getting that request the Captain wants done. I guess it doesn’t matter if the technician (who is me) knows it won’t be done anytime soon.
